About Liz B. Craig
Ms. Craig specializes in reports that document hardship or ill treatment experienced
by applicants for immigration benefits or their relatives. These reports communicate
the difficult facts at issue in waiver applications, Violence Against Women Act cases,
and asylum applications, and they have supported successful outcomes before U.S.
Citizenship and Immigration Services and Immigration Courts.

Throughout her work with individuals and families, Ms. Craig has supported people
in handling various types of abuse and neglect. Through her experience with families
dealing with child abuse, domestic violence and other types of traumas, Ms. Craig
has become an expert in identifying and treating people with Post Traumatic Stress
Disorder and other mental health issues that can stem from having suffered abuse. It is through her ability to provide a thorough  psychosocial assessment that Ms. Craig is able to support clients with referrals to other community based services and to document abuse and hardship necessary for court.

For over seven years Ms. Craig worked for a home-based program that provided in-home services to new immigrants to the United States. In this capacity, she was able to learn in-depth about the struggles immigrants to this country face. For the past five years, she has focused on adult psychological assessments and psychological evaluations, with a particular focus on clients with immigration concerns.

Ms. Craig earned her bachelor's degree from Trinity College and received a master of arts in social work from Boston College. She has provided direct care and supervisory support in a variety of clinical settings, including inpatient and outpatient hospital units and community based organizations.

Ms. Craig has traveled extensively throughout Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America. Her exposure to a variety of cultures has helped her provide compassionate and effective social work services to thousands of individuals from all over the world.
